DONATION YogaReach Mindful Movement for Parkinsons

Mindful Movement for Parkinsons is dedicated to the needs of those diagnosed with Parkinsons disease and their caregiver. This class is a complimentary therapy which helps increase flexibility, improve posture, balance and gait, loosen tight and painful muscles, and support initiation of movement. The goal of the class is to help those affected by PD to feel more connected to their body through mindful movements, exercise, breath work and meditation resulting in confidence, resilience and community. This class is lead by a certified Mindful Movement for Parkinsons Disease instructor. Compassion and inspiration are the driving forces in this relaxed and loving yoga practice. Chairs, props, yoga mats are provided.

This class is limited to 16 participants to ensure the quality of instruction and safety of participants.
If you need support moving in the classroom, please feel free to bring a care partner with you.
Anyone affected by Parkinson's Disease and their care partners are welcome to participate.
Suggested Donation: $10
A donation is not required for participation.
A waiver of liability is required.
