In this 60 minute class you will be guided through a slow, centering practice that focuses on finding deep release and smoothing of the bodys connective tissues (fascia, ligaments and tendons) around muscles and in areas that encompass joints such as knees, hips, sacrum, shoulders and spine. This class consists of a short centering meditation that focuses on the breath and a series of long held, passive floor poses that are held for 3-5 minutes. This is a great practice for people who want to achieve flexibility, maintain healthy joints and open up energy flow in the body.
Hands on assists, supportive therapeutic touch and props will be offered to help you benefit the most from each pose.Appropriate for all levels of yoga experience and fitness.
