NOT FOR BEGINNERS

We will XC Ski the 5 mile (one way)Veterans Memorial Highway up Whiteface Mountain. Elevation gain of 2500' with great views along the way. Dress in non cottonlayers and bring fullwinter gear including facemask/balaclava. You must be an experienced XC skier and in excellent physical condition to participate. Bring lunch, water, snacks and carpool $. We can stop in Lake Placid for food after for those interested. Stormy weather or poor travel conditions postpones the outing. All persons participating should be aware of Hiking Mates Policies, see Pages Tab for details. My cell[masked] if needed.
