All Washburn students, faculty, staff, administration, and the Topeka community are invited! Do you want to read at the YWCA Week Without Violence Poetry Reading on October 17 in the Union Underground, but the inspiration is not finding you? Never fear!

Brought to you by YWCA, Washburn's Office ofSexual Assault Education and Prevention, and The Department of English, there will be a special poetry workshop with you in mind! No experience necessary--only the interest to speak out against violence in our community.

We will go through prompts, examples, and everyone will come away with ideas, writings, and maybe a poem.

Already have a poem? You need not sign up for this event to take part in the WWOV Poetry Reading on October 17, Union Underground in Washburn's Memorial Union, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact Dennis Etzel, Jr. at dennis.etzel@washburn.edu.

Thank you for your interest and in helping make Washburn and our community at large a better, safer place to live!
