Woodturning is a fun, absorbing activity. Almost no one comes to the shop just "putter around" with the table saw or the planer. But, once you learn the basics of turning, you'll want to putter around with the lathe. This signoff course is intended those who have no prior experience in woodturning. You will learn how to safely use the lathe and practice with some of the basic turning tools and techniques. You wont become an expert with one course, but I hope you will (re)discover that turning is fun and adds a new dimension to your portfolio of woodworking skills. Sign off: Woodshop Lathes
