Come and hear "Why Courts Matter". Our panel of experts will briefly describe the role of the Judiciary as one the three branches of government and the importance of the courts to our Constitution's system of checks and balances. They will address the workings of our local and state courts, how the federal courts function and the important role of the Supreme Court. After the presentation, panel members will respond to questions from the audience, submitted during the event or when registering for the town hall.

Our moderator will be Marilyn Brill, past President of the Leaque of Women Voters.

The panel for this event is The Hon. Louise Knight, Senior Judge for the Court of Common Pleas, Fred Martin, Esq and Mary Beth Clark, Esq.
