Jul 15 6:00AM - 7:00PM

We are rafting the Ocoee River with Carolina Ocoee Rafting.

We will do a full day guided rafting experience. We are covering the Upper and Middle Ocoee - The Upper Ocoee was part of the Summer Olympics course, so do know that it is serious white water with Class IV and V rapids! It should be awesome, but if churning water gets you bothered you'll want to think twice.

We will need to arrive at their center (225 Industrial Dr., Ducktown, TN) at 8:30a. We will depart for the launch spot at 9:00a. We will have a full 6+ hr. day on the river which will include a stop for a hot grilled lunch (There are veggie options, but the main is usually meat of some kind - ask when you register if you need vegetarian or gluten-free options). They will provide all of the equipment (helmets, jackets, paddles, etc.) and give a safety briefing. As always, you're hiking (and rafting) at your own risk!

We should be back at the center around 4:00p.

YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER byFridaymorning. Here's how you register:

Call the center using the number(423)[masked]
