The East Toronto Chapter is proud to sponsor a fundraising event for Riverdale Collegiate Robotics Club. We have worked with Riverdale Collegiate in the past to mentor their students in preparing for and competing in FIRST Robotics competitions. Riverdale is an inner-city school and has an extremely diverse and in some cases economically disadvantaged student population. Preparing for and competing in these competitions can be expensive. This is where you come in. The Whisky Tasting fundraiser will contribute a significant portion of the proceeds to Riverdale's FIRST Robotics Club

The evening will feature a whisky tasting led by Dan Volway, Canadian Brand Ambassador for The Macallan, Highland Park, Famous Grouse among others. Dan will conduct a Master Class in whisky tasting. Dan originally hails from Calgary, but has called Toronto home for the past 20 years. Dan is now based in Vancouver and works at the job of his dreams. There will also be plenty of fancy food trays circulating. To keep you entertained we will have a wandering magician who specializes in slight-of-hand card tricks. Riverdale's robot will be on display and we will have door prizes too.

This is sure to be a special evening and is for an extremely good cause. Invite your spouses, friend and acquaintances.

Location:The Brooklyn Tavern, 1097 Queen St East in the heart of Leslieville (Queen and Pape). Street parking available and TTC accessible. Please Cab, Uber or transit.
