SWE will be offering 30-minute individual coaching sessions during which you can address any work issue you have found challenging.You will be engaged in 1:1 coaching and guidance from an experienced coach.These sessions are open to anyone attending the conference from students to experienced engineers. Wed love to have you take advantage of this opportunity. Bring your greatest challenges and come away with clearer directions on how to proceed.
Saturday, November 9th, there will be a two-hour group coaching session open to senior-level engineers (not available to students).This session will provide the opportunity for participants to present a challenge they are facing at work and to receive targeted coaching from the facilitators and feedback, guidance and resources from others in the group who have faced similar situations. There are two group-sessions available, limited to6-8 attendees per group.

Barbara is a business partner of JanBara & Associates, a full-service leadership development, high performance consulting company. The partners specialize in HR performance strategy and leadership initiatives including leadership and management programs; talent management; coaching; and the integration of effective change management strategies and processes. The firm helps companies assess individuals as part of the hiring process as well as identify high potential talent.
Jane Lowensteinhas over 25 years of experience advising corporate executives how to solve their people problems. Her clients have described her as a perceptive and insightful coach who produces exceptional results. She has taught managers and executives how to develop and lead others to reach organizational goals, create an environment for high performance and develop an adaptable, competent workforce to handle tough issues. Jane excels in leadership development, strategic communications, change management, diversity and performance management. As a federal mediator, she has extensive experience with conflict management and alternative dispute resolution techniques. She has consulted and worked with companies in a variety of industries including science and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and financial services.
