Project Sunshine is a fantastic national non-profitwho partners with medical centers across the United States and in four international locations to meet the non-medical, social-emotional needs of children dealing with illnesses. Project Sunshine promotes key elements of childhood like play, learning, and socialization in the hospital environment restoring a crucial sense of normalcy for pediatric patients and their families.

Their mission is simple: help kids feel good, so they can get well. VU PHL will be utilizing the Northern Liberties Neighborhood Center to "send some sunshine" to pediatric patients. We will be assembling Creative Arts & Crafts Kits for kids to use while receiving long hours of treatment in the hospital. The kits include art supplies to create a fun, themed craft. Don't worry, you don't have to be artistic! We'll leave that to the kids.

After sending sunshine, we'll head to an #afterjawn in the neighborhood with some awesome specials that will soon be announced! Every big kid needs a snack or a drink after some hard work!
