Oct 12 1:00PM - 3:00PM

Take the afternoon off on and join your atheist friends at the Food Group (formerly Emergency Foodshelf Network)for a rewarding volunteer opportunity. We will begin sorting and packing food at 1:00pm at the Food Group warehouse (please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the volunteer waiver). The food we pack will then eventually be distributed to various food shelves throughout the Twin Cities.

The Food Group is a secular, NON-faith based non-profit organization whose mission is to to "serve the hunger needs of our changing communities".

Please show up at the warehouse [masked]th Ave. North, New Hope, MN) a few minutes early and be sure to wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing! There will be a short waiver for you to sign at the Food Group warehouse before the shift begins.

After our hard work is completed some of us might meet up at a nearby eatery for some food and drinks.

The Minnesota Atheists is a partner organization of Volunteers Beyond Belief.

How to find us:We're the friendly looking atheists doing good work! The signs at the Food Group warehouse will direct you on where to meet.
