What we'll do
Details:
Show your dedication to your community and environment by helping us plant trees. Trees help reduce storm water runoff, reduce erosion, cool the citys heat island effect, and beautify our community. Come have fun and volunteer with us!

Directions:
From I-40 West: Take Exit 201.
From I-40 East: Take Exit 201B.
At the end of either exit Ramp, take a right turn onto Charlotte Pike. Continue on Charlotte Pike for 0.3 miles until you see a "BoJangles" sign on your right and an unnamed road immediately after. Take that road. After you pass both entrances for "BoJangles", take the next entrance on the right (it has a green sign in front labeled "Cumberland River Greenway at Brookmeade Park") into a parking area where we will meet. When:
Saturday, February 10th, 2018, 10:00 am - 1:30 pm

Additional Information:
Please dress warmly in layers, and wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty.
Closed toe shoes are required, and boots/hiking shoes are recommended. The Cumberland River Compact will provide all shovels, trees, gloves, etc. We will also bring a water cooler for all volunteers.
