The Arlington ISD, Churches of Arlington, Arlington NAACP, Junior League of Arlington, The Gene and Jerry Jones Family North Texas Youth Education Town, and The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation have partnered to host the 3rd annual "AISD Back to School Kickoff" benefitting 10,000 students. InfoHERE.

STUDENTS PRE-REGISTER
Students of Arlington ISD, who have registered in advance for this specific event, will receive backpacks and school supplies. In addition, students who have registered for additional services will have access to immunizations, dental services, vision exams, and haircuts as they prepare for the upcoming[masked] school year.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Please support this endeavor by signing up to volunteer as the organizations create a rewarding experience for the students of the Arlington ISD.Volunteers must be 18 years and older. Most positions are for 2.5 hour shifts, starting at 7 AM, 9 AM, or 10:30 AM. At 11:45 AM they also need Clean Up volunteers. There is no RAK or Around Arlington host for this event - we are volunteering individually, not as a group (so talk your friends into joining you). Pick a position and a time, there are over 800 volunteer spots available.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Floaters: This volunteer opportunity allows individuals to assist in multiple areas as needed. Please visit the volunteer registration table for your assignment--we know you'll be flexible as you may support several of the volunteer areas during your shift

Fuel Up to Play 60 Activities:On your mark, get ready, set...GO!!! Bring your high energy and your cheering voices as you will be instrumental in providing the AISD students with some fun and excitement to round out their perfect day. You will assist in the activities that are designed to get the students moving and entertained. We hope you're ready--this is a new addition to the event and sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Medical Professionals: This volunteer opportunity is for those who have a clinical background and/or license to assist with student immunizations. You also may be utilized to support any required medical aid.

Parent Outreach Support:Because the parents are vital to the success of the students, please sign up for this volunteer opportunity to support some of the tailored events created just for the parents. Parents will be equipped with information and will get to have an experience that will benefit their families.

Resource Fair:This volunteer opportunity is to assist outside Resource Providers with logistics and support.

Salvation Army Support:This event is a success because of the volunteers who give of their time to impact the lives of some very appreciate students. While the volunteers are sacrificing, the Salvation Army is distributing light snacks and water and with so many volunteers, your help to reach them all will be needed. This volunteer opportunity is specifically designed for those who would like to "support the support."

Services for Students:This volunteer opportunity is to assist students and their parents with the Service Providers who will be participating in the immunizations, haircuts, dental, and additional services. You will also help the Service Providers as they service the students.

Volunteer Ambassador: Volunteers need help too...this volunteer opportunity is for those who are ready to get some extra steps for the day by assisting the volunteers in getting to their correct assignments and locations. Get your health trackers charged because you'll certainly reach your step goal as you move between volunteer locations.

Language Ambassador (Bilingual):This volunteer opportunity is for those who speak more than one language and who can assist students, parents, volunteers, and other participants in communicating in their primary language to make this a stress-free event and to help them take advantage of all that will be offered. Please indicate the additional languages you speak fluently in the comment section.

Clean Up: After an amazing day of assisting the students of AISD, we need to return the AT&T Stadium to its tip top shape. Volunteers signing up for the Clean Up spots will assist in doing this by helping to move tables, chairs, and other supplies used for the day.
