Team Events

-Bike Sprint + Sandbag Carry

This event consists of a .2 mile sprint on the spin bike, set on a resistance of 14 followed by carrying 2 (40 lbs. for men or 30 lbs. for women) sandbags 30 yards. At 30 yards, one sandbag is picked up, squat & pressed for 10 repetitions. Then the two sandbags are carried back 30 yards to the starting line. Time stops once the last person on team crosses the starting line. This is a timed event. The winners will be determined by the team who completes the exercise in the shortest amount of time.

-Prowler Push/Pull

This event consists of a weighted sled with an attached rope. Using the attached rope, the athlete will run to the rope and drag the rope/sled 10 yards then pull the sled an additional 10 yards. Once there is no more rope to pull, the athlete will push the sled back a total of 20 yards to its starting position. Once that person has reached the starting mark and tags the next teammate, the teammate will run to the rope and repeat the drag, pull and push. This is a timed event. The winners will be determined by the team who completes the exercise in the shortest amount of time.

Individuals Power Events

- Push Press

This test will measure the athletes Upper Body Peak Pushing Power within five reps of the Military Press exercise.In a standing position, holding the bar-hands at shoulder width and shoulder height, push the bar up with as much power as possible.A set resistance will be given for both men and women.The person with the highest peak power will be determined the winner.

-Air Squat

This test will measure the athletes Lower Body Peak Power within five reps of the Keiser AirSquat. A set resistance will be given for both men and women. The winner is determined by the highest overall peak power amount (wattage).

-Upper Body Row

This test will measure the athletes Upper Body Peak Pulling Power within five reps of the Row exercise. In a supine position on the bench, with 5 points of contact (head, shoulders, back, butt and feet on bench), the handles will be pulled with as much power as possible. Resistance is set for both men and women. The winner will be determined by the highest overall peak power amount (wattage).
