Magazines have traditionally been the ideal home for well written, researched, fact-checked long-form stories.

The Toronto-based stitched! concept was brought to us by Sonya Fatah, assistant professor of Journalism at the RSJ. stitched! is a live journalism concept, and we were asked - as part of the super course - to take the basic editorial idea for one piece for a larger production - and turn it into a piece performed before a live audience.

We will be debuting our piece in late March 2019. Leading up to the debut of this piece in, we are inviting industry, academic, and student specialists in the areas of theater performance and tech, event production, magazine journalism, and multimedia to gather for a focus group session to see a small sample of the performance.

This night is your chance to see the first preview of our content, to offer your insights, ask questions and contribute to the collaborative spirit of our project. Refreshments will be provided.
