This workshop will provide instruction in mindfulness and movement to decrease stress and improve heart health. Our dynamic presenters are Dr. Chinwe Williams and Anana Harris Parris.
Dr. Chinwe Williams is a licensed professional counselor who holds a doctorate in counselor education. She is the founder of Meaningful Solutions Counseling and Consulting. Dr Williams will describe mindfulness practices useful to improve physical and emotional health.
Anana Harris Paris is the founder of Self-Care Agency LLC and The SisterCAREAlliance. The SisterCARE Alliance is a womens empowerment network that promotes self-care and social activism to its members and educates women and girls of color on critical self-care strategies. Ms. Paris will lead us in an exhilarating workshop using dance for self care
