We'll meet at 11th & P to arrange carpools and leave by 7:10AM. You should be comfortable hiking 15 plus miles with 3500 feet of gain.

The wildflowers should be popping...

The Hike:

1. Tennessee Valley Parking Lot

2. Miwok Trail (east) cross Tennessee Valley Rd

3. Oakwood Valley Trail (south) at the T continue South on the Oakwood Valley Trail veer right onto

4. Alta Trail (south) to Rodeo drive stay right to stay on Alta Trail go past the Morning Sun Trail. The Alta Trail empties into Wolfback Ridge Rd. Take a hard right and pickup SCA Trail.

5. SCA Trail across Bunker Road. At the Y, stay right onto the Coastal Trail

6. Coastal Trail (west) across McCullough Rd. head toward the roundabout and head west-down Conzelman Rd. (there is a trail on the other side of the guardrail. Cross the road and go through the tunnel. You can check out the Nike missile area and Hawk Hill and then continue down to Conzelman Road on the stepped trail down to Conzelman Road.

7. Conzelman Road follow it west (there is a trail on the left side that you can follow) follow this all the way to Field Road

8. Field Road a short distance to Battery Alexander. There is a trail just on the left side of Battery Alexander Rd. Head toward Rodeo Beach

9. Rodeo Beach go across the bridge toward Mitchell Rd. at the end of Mitchell Rd. take the Coastal Trail

10. Coastal Trail (hiking) (east) the Coastal Trail will come to a T; take the trail to the left to head north on the Coastal Trail. At the next T; you can stay right to the Wolf Ridge Trail east

11. Wolf Ridge Trail to the Miwok Trail go north-east

12. Miwok Trail to Old Springs Trail (north-west) back to Tennessee Valley parking area
