Pyramid Breweries, Portland Brewing Company and Columbia Distributing invite you, your family and friends to Tap it Forward! Brewing and delivering great beer takes its toll...we must also take great care of the footprints we leave on our environment.Join us as we partner to protect and strengthen our backyard where we work and play.

Together we will head to Forest Park to remove invasive plant species, like ivy, clear brush, build fences and prune overgrown shrubs and trees. This helps clear space for new native plants that will be planted in the fall.

We will begin at the Portland Brewing Co. Taproom with a light breakfast before loading vans/busses, and carpooling to Forest Park.

Volunteering wraps up at 12pm, when we'll head back to the taproom for a Tap it Forward Feast - a late lunch, prizes and beer of course!

RSVP by Friday, August 25th to receive a volunteer t-shirt!

Please complete the following steps:

1. RSVP for a volunteer spot. Select a trail based on your preferred level of activity, with 1 = light work (ie raking); and 4 = moderate work (ie shoveling and/or fence building). Each trail includes a description of the activities to be performed.

2. RSVP for the Tap it Forward Feast.

3. Download, print, sign and bring this waiver LINKED HERE to the event. Every volunteer must bring a signed waiver to participate.

4. Bringing a child? Sign up for the Kids Hike! A two-hour kids hike will begin at 10am for children under 10 years old and one adult family member. Maximum participants is 25 kids/adults, so get a spot before it's too late!

Information on what to wear, bring and how to get to the trails (by shuttle bus - don't drive to the trailheads!) is in the FAQ section below.

Parking is very limited at the trail heads. Please come to the brewery by 8:30am. We will have a light breakfast to fuel you before you head out
