Pyramid Breweries, Portland Brewing Company and Columbia Distributing invite you, your family and friends to Tap it Forward! Brewing and delivering great beer takes its toll...we must also take great care of the footprints we leave on our environment.Join us as we partner to protect and strengthen our backyard where we work and play.

Together we will head to Pigeon Point Park to remove invasive plant species like Himalayan blackberry and English ivy from this important urban forest. This helps clear space for new native plants that will begin planted in October. Volunteers may also be applying mulch to planting areas.

We will begin at the Pyramid Alehousewith a light breakfast before carpooling to the Pigeon Point Park.

Volunteering wraps up at 2pm, and then we'll head back to the alehouse for a Tap it Forward Feast - a late lunch, prizes and beer of course!

RSVP by Friday, August 25th to receive a volunteer t-shirt!

To participate, please complete the following steps:

1. RSVP for a Tape it Forward Volunteer Spot.

2. RSVP for the Tap it Forward Feast.

3. Bringing someone under 18 years old? Please download, print, sign and bring this waiver LINKED HERE to the event. Please complete one form for each person under 18.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. How do I get to the park? Not by car! Please arrive at Pyramid Alehouse to load the bus or carpool that will take you to the site. Please come to the alehouse by 8:30am. We will have a light breakfast to fuel you before you head out.

  3. What should I bring? If you care about your car getting dirty, Id advise bringing a backup change of clothes. You may also want sunscreen (you never know!), a water bottle, snack, and if you have a pair of gloves you love feel free to bring them. We also have gloves available there.
  4. What if I have alergies or an injury? If you have an injury, please let us know when you get here, so we can accommodate to the best of our ability. If you are allergic to bees, please know we do have bees here, and stings can happen. Please bring whatever you need to be safe.
