Training for GBBC
On Saturday, February 10, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, Alan
Mearns will again be providing a training session on
participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count at the Edmonds
Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden. The
training will also include time to practice with your binoculars
and bird identification of common backyard birds so bring
binoculars. The workshop is free and will help first
time GBBC participants and beginning birders. The Demo
Garden is located on the NW corner of Edmonds Way (S/R 104)
and Pine St. (95 Pine St.) at the Willow Creek Hatchery
building. Street parking on Pine Street; for those with limited
mobility, there is parking down the driveway.
