With a forest edged by the North River, a marsh, a swamp, and a peatland, this 22-acre preserve has a choice of watery habitats for wildlife. A loop through the forest gives a chance for us to see them all.

Bear-Paw is proud to celebrate the 8,000 acres of our regions forests, wetlands and farmlands that our work has protected in the 20 years since we began. In addition to conserving water, wildlife habitat, forests, and farms, there is another benefit for us all more than 6,000 of those acres are open to the public!

Where are all these places? How do you get to them? Do they have trails? Is there parking? What is there to see when you get there? Come join us for our expanded schedule of walks to explore our conservation lands, including this one.
