Sri Sri Yoga Series,focuses on incorporating authentic and holistic yoga as a daily practice. This series of classes will include the practice of physical postures (asana),breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation/deep relaxation (dhyana) and knowledge (gnyana) from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras.

Preparation for a yoga class:

  • For all sessions, please plan to arrive early enough to settle down on your yoga mat at least 5 minutes prior to the class start time.
  • Hydrate well through the day.
  • Avoid sugary snacks, soda, sugary sports drinks, caffeine, heavy/greasy meals for at least 2 hoursprior to a yoga session.
  • Yoga practice is done with a very light or empty stomach. Please time your meals accordingly on class days.
  • Bring a yoga mat, a towel and water for the class. You could also bring a cushion and/or a back support if you need for meditation.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to stretch and sweat in. Materials that breath and wick away moisture is recommended.
  • Feel free to bring blocks, straps, bolsters or any other props.
  • During the session please make sure cellphones are turned off or in silent mode.

  • Improves overall energy levels, confidence and emotional wellbeing
  • Improves clarity of thought and ability to focus
