RSVP to play up to 6 days in advance of the meetup event starting at 8am.

Once you register on Southborough Recreation Tennis Meetup you can RSVP to play in all the Meetups you want. There will be a $15 per month fee to participate and it will be collected when you show up to play. The fee will cover you for that month. The fee will be collected up through the last meetup for that month regardless of how many times you play.

Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Singles matches will be played on outdoor hard-courts. All levels 3.0 and higher welcome. You must be able to serve over-head, volley and rally.New tennis balls for each court will be provided and will be collected at the end of the meetup day.

Based on the play level you indicated in your profile initially you will be matched up with similar level players. Adjustment to the skill level you entered may be done based on your actual play. Players participating in a meetup session will be emailed the day before with court assignment.

1st Session matches are from 8:00-9:30AM. 2nd Session matches are from 9:30-11:00AM. You must RSVP to both sessions if you want to play from 8AM to 11AM. Player on your assigned court will decide on starting teams.Matches are w/Ad scoring. After 45 mins of play all players will switch courts. Leading team moves up a court & splits. Other team moves down a court & splits.

All guests are required to register, RSVP and pay the fee to participate. This will ensure we have a spot for your guest and matched with players of similar skill-level.

Occasionally, we will have to play at other locations when ARHS courts are not available. Organizer will change location in the meetup description.

Rain and/or wet courts may force cancellation which will be communicated via e-mail as early as possible. If the forecast is skeptical and you do not want to take a chance don't rsvp to play that day.

All players play at their own risk at all times.

"NO SHOWS" are not tolerated. A "NO SHOW" is considered when you rsvp to play but fail to show up to the meetup or cancel after the court assignments have been sent out. Every tennis player knows what it is like to play with uneven numbers. It is not much fun. By you not coming to play after you rsvp it affects 3 other players who were counting on you to show up. Don't be that person who messes up the court assignments. For each "NO SHOW" that you do you will be the person that is put last on the wait list if there are odd numbers for that particular meetup regardless of when you rsvp to play. Three "NO SHOWS" will ban you from the group. Before you rsvp be sure that you are able to play. You can change your rsvp to not play up until 6pm the day before the meetup. There will be no penalty if you cancel after 6pm and there is a player on the wait list to substitute for you. Send me an email to let me know that you cannot play no matter what. Please be considerate.

In order to keep even numbers we will allow up to 36 players in increments of 4. If you rsvp last and you are the odd number player you will be put on the wait list. If a player that is already included in the meetup cancels the next person in line on the wait list will be automatically be added to the meetup. You will get a notification email when that happens. If you are on the wait list please be ready to play should someone cancel last minute. Look for an email notification letting you know that you are now included in the meetup. If you do not want to wait be notified to play last minute or if you do not want to be on the wait list then change your rsvp to "No" and you will be removed from the wait list. Being on the wait list and not playing when there is availability will count as a "NO SHOW". You will know that you are wait listed when the court assignment email goes out. If there are 1-3 players on the wait list you are still welcome to come to the meetup if there are less than 36 players for that session. You should then contact the other players and confirm who will also show up to play using the message option on the meetup website. That is your responsibility.

Also, if you rsvp to play please be on time. No one wants to wait 10-15 minutes for you to show up. You will be expected to play the entire session that you rsvp to. Think of it as a job. Show up on time and no cutting out early.

Organizers reserve the right to remove any player from the RSVP list or this social tennis Group or the courts at any time for any reason without advance notice.

How to find us:Tennis courts are behind the school building. Drive around to the back of the school and you will see the tennis courts.
