Conditions have been suitable for a large increase in snakes this year. North Carolina has been setting records for snakebites over the past few months.

Grayson has partnered with CCSB Reptile Rescue and Rehab of Kernersville, NC to offer snake aversion training on venomous species native to the region.

Join us on September 16th, 2017 and let Grayson train your dog to avoid all snakes.

Chad Griffin of CCSB will be on site to oversee the health and wellbeing of the snakes as well as offer a clinic on snakebite prevention and management for both pets and humans in the field.

The Training

Grayson will handle all dogs through the training and delivery of well timed aversive stimulation with a remote training collar. This kind of training is often referred to as a singular learning event. It is not fun for the dog or handler, but it DOES save dogs lives. Training will occur on caged copperheads and timber rattlesnakes and be tested on an exposed black rat snake.
