Diomed Presents welcomes Grammy nominated Bluegrass artist Seldom Scene to the Northern Neck of Virginia for BLUEGRASS UNDER THE STARS II this summer!
Seldom Scene will play two sets of beautifully crafted Virginia Bluegrass music starting at 7pm on Saturday, July 11th at Mount Airy Farm located just outside Warsaw, Va. South Carolina's lonesomest low country pickers RED CEDAR REVIEW will open the show at 6pm.
BLUEGRASS UNDER THE STARS II will take place on the intimate Deer Park lawn of historic Mount Airy with the summer sun sinking into the Rappahannock river and the cool evening breezes blowing in the treetops. Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. A flashlight may also be useful for after the show when returning to your vehicle just after sunset.
RED CEDAR REVIEW WILL GO ON AT 6PM.
SELDOM SCENE WILL START AT 7PM SHARP WITH TWO 45 MIN SETS AND A SHORT INTERMISSION. THE EVENT WILL END BY 9PM.
General admission tickets are only $35
A special but limited available VIP ticket includes VIP parking and a reserved seat up front close to the stage, an invite to the pre-party with SELDOM SCENE held at 5:30 pm before the show and an invite to the Smokehouse After-Party (with a special acoustic closing set by RED CEDAR REVIEW for VIP ticket holders only). A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75.
Free parking and handicapped parking is available for all attendees. Parking opens at 4pm. Seating is on a first come basis.
Food trucks, brick oven pizza, pork BBQ from Two Fish Bistro, Hubs Virginia Peanuts and other delicious foods as well Virginia-made craft ales from Alewerks Brewing and local Virginia grown wines from Caret Cellars and Good Luck Cellars will be available for purchase at event.
Small coolers are ok. No outside alcohol allowed. No pets.
Camping is available nearby at Naylor's Beach Campground. There are several nice motels, hotels and B&B's nearby in Warsaw, Tappahannock and Montross.
