Hey all you Saturday Social riders, we are doing something a little different for the next couple of weeks, we will be helping and riding the Candy Ride in the C group, that means going a little further, but at our same C pace 15-17 MPH. If you have been riding with us, this should be no problem, you can do it! We will be doing the airport run, its a route we have not ridden in a while, and its always a great time. We will have a couple of cue/rest stops on the route so come out and ride with us!

~Happy riding

Hi, my name is John Montez and I am the beginner group road ride leader for the Chandler Saturday Social ride. This ride will be a great beginner ride for everyone that has never on a group ride and those of you that can ride a little further but not quite as fast. We are going to average about 14-17MPH

During your time with us, you should be able to gain confidence, strength, and endurance all in a social setting, we all pull, and look out for each other. After the ride, we will meet at the shop for a little recovery snack.

About the ride:

This is a 4 week progressive ride we will start at 10 miles the first week and then 15, 20, 25 miles, then we will start all over again, we may go a little longer, if the route dictates, you can do it, we all will help you!

What you need to ride with us:

(A road bike is preferred, but a hybrid bike will work to keep pace.)

Hydration, Hydration, Hydration!

Helmet

Sunscreen/sunglasses

Tail light is required, headlight optional

Roadside repair supplies (spare tube, pump, & tire levers at a minimum)

Nutrition for longer rides

Dedication

Hydration, Hydration, Hydration!

This ride is perfect for you if:

Have been off the bike for awhile

New to the sport

If you want to learn how to ride in a group.

Not sure if you have the right bike... We can help with that too!

Dont forget to take one of our FREE "So you just got a bike" 101 clinics - check the calendar
