Cooler temperatures are driving runners out of the gym. The combo Hermann/Rice loop is much less crowded than Memorial Park, yet still provides softer crushed gravel trails for our delicate feet, plus the added bonus of being nearly 100% shaded.

Beginner runners can focus on completing the Hermann Park loop of two miles; whereas, more experienced runners can add the Rice loop for a 5 mile jaunt. Everybody meets back in front of Centennial gardens, and later we'll grab a drink and a bite at Caffeine Coffee down the street.

Map of course. Red- 2 mile Hermann park portion, yellow- Rice 2.9 mile loop portion. Multiple water fountains available at Miller Outdoor Theatre, Rice Blvd, and University Blvd. Restrooms available at Miller and Centennial Gardens (opens at 9 AM).

Location of Meetup:

Waiting in front of the sign Centennial Gardens as shown below in parking lot C with fluorescent yellow top and blue shorts.

Location of postrun gathering is Kaffeine Coffee:

5225 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77004
