Please join us for The Seattle Arts Leadership Team (SALT) third mentorship event on Tuesday, June 19th at El Centro De La Raza's Centilia Cultural Center.

This year's theme is Arts & Resistance. We have reached out to change agents and organizers doing social justice work in the arts, so you can learn how to leverage your art in meaningful authentic ways to make change. This evening will be an opportunity to ask these artists/activists how they use art to make to make social change.

Each mentor will meet with up to four participants at a time for 15-minute sessions. This time is where you can ask questions or have a generative conversation about arts activism.

Mentors include:

Lulu Carpenter Owner of Lulu Nation

Aaron Counts Teaching Artist at Creative Justice

Louie Gong Owner of Eighth Generation

James Miles Executive Director of Arts Corps

Christian Paige Poet, Speaker, Educator

Gabriel Teodros Musician, Writer, DJ, Activist

Angelina Villalobos Teaching Artist, Urban Artworks

Lacie West Executive Director of the Service Board
