Dedicate your participation to a Service Member in your life.Ruck N Run is a boot camp inspired walk/run that honors Veterans and connects the community. You can also run this event without your ruck.Last year we raised awareness & benefitted these Veteran organizations:1. Combat Boots & High Heels (CB&HH):A Veteran 501(c)(3) that strives to Engage, Enable, and Empower men and women through mentorship and assistance. CB&HH is additionally focused on addressing certain unique needs that female service members encounter. CB&HH volunteers and advocates tirelessly dedicate themselves to battling the negative effects present in today's Veteran community, such as suicide, depression, homelessness, unemployment, and poverty.More information at: www.combatbootsandhighheels.org2. Find a local Veterans shelter and give canned goods. These canned goods can be placed in your rucksack as weight. Please let us know how much you've donated.ROUTES5.56K with 5 stations7.62K with 7 stationsRuckers walk with their own rucksack/backpack. You can choose to walk without a ruck.Runners do not have a rucksack/backpack.You have the option of completing the exercise stations. Ruckers...It's your choice to keep your ruck on or take it off during the exercises. The weight of your ruck is totally up to you.We highly recommended that each participant practice these exercises along a 5.56K or 7.62K route on their own time, prior to the event. Train hard.Tip: Having a rucksack with a waist belt is better than having a regular school backpack.5.56K Route with 5 Stations:1. Push Ups2. Jumping Jacks3. Mountain Climbers (4 count)4. Body Weight Squats5. Burpees (6 count)7.62K Route with 7 Stations:1. Push Ups2. Jumping Jacks3. Mountain Climbers (4 count)4. Plyo (clapping) Push Ups5. Walkout Push Ups6. Body Weight Squats7. Burpees (6 count)There are 3 options to choose from; Zero reps, 10 reps, or 25 reps of the station exercises. Event shirts and Finisher's medal: Register before October 9, 2019 to guarantee you get an event t-shirt. Your shirt and medal will be mailed to the address you provide. Please provide the following information so we can mail the shirt and medal you earned.1. Which Veterans shelter did you donate to? (shelter name, city, state)2.
