Restorative Yoga & Pranayama Session


This new series will introduce both Restorative Yoga & Pranayama breathing exercises for physical and emotional well-being.

Whether dealing with stress, anxious mind or to remove any blockages to the life force. This class is designed to empower you to cultivate well-being through restorative yoga and pranayama (breathing practices).

A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.

Pranayama (breathing exercises) is the fourth limb of yoga which is now gaining a lot of attention in the clinical world due to its positive impact on our physical and mental health. As per Harvard medical school, deep breathing exercises(pranayama) are the go to technique to activate ones relaxation response.
