Hello RA 102 Runners!

Another amazing week everyone, you have made it to the first half of our session! YEAH!!! We are so proud of each and everyone of you and you are that much closer to tackling the Dodger Stadium course!


Week 6, Session 3 workout for Saturday, August 12th, 6:30 am start time:

Location - Riverdale Park, 4545 E Riverdale Ave, Anaheim, 92807 (Cross streets are Lakeview Ave and Riverdale Ave.

Our Workout - 5:1 segments but will increase our overall run time to 65 minutes; easy run for 5 minutes followed by a 1 minute walk break. Please bringa water bottle with ice and a cooling towel!

All Saturday Runs: are considered a Long Slow Distance runs: The purpose is to build endurance NOT Speed. Run these very easy with walk breaks. If you use a heart rate monitor, remain in the 60-70% MHR. Since we are increasing your total running time per week and reducing walk breaks you will want to pay close attention to your diet and rest. Remember, your recovery is part of your training.
