Rick Mrstik is leading this float on the Potomac River from the Route 340 Wayside to Brunswick Family Campground. This float is justover 5 miles long.

The Plan:

Meet at the Wayside off Route 340 (just on the Virginia side of the 340 Potomac Bridge) - Please have your boat and gear unloaded at the river by 7:30. We'll then drive all vehicles to the takeout at the Brunswick Family Campground, then catch a shuttle van back to the put-in. There will be a $5 charge per person for shuttle transportation.

This trip is limited to PRSC members - please visitPRSC.org to join.

Other Important information:

There will be a small fee for the shuttle ride from the campground.

All boats and gear need to be carried about 100 yards down a rough road from the wayside to the river - wear sturdy shoes.

Since all vehicles will be at the takeout point, anglers can fish and float at their own pace.

Don't forget your PFD, MD or VA fishing license, sunscreen, snacks or lunch, and plenty of drinking water.

In case of inclement weather or hazardous water levels, this trip will be postponed.
