Porcelain Clay Workshop is Presented by international sculptor Tanis Saxby in her East Vancouver Studio. With just under 20 years experience teaching Tanis works in a "Salon Style" where each student is shown how to make the creations of their choice after recieving demonstrations on how to use porcelain clay. Designed for all levels, Tanis shows examples of various methods to make sculptures and vessels by handbuilding techniques.
Porcelain is a very special type of clay and is known for it's strength and velvety texture, it's guaranteed to spark a love for this creative process. The easy surportive environment that Tanis creates draws students from all backgrounds to come together to share a creative experience. *Workshop fee includes clay firings, cost of clay is additional (usually $10-15/ weekend) this can be pais during the weekend.
