Event Description

The Pennsylvania National Guard (PNG) Sexual Assault Prevention & Awareness Program and Child & Youth Program invite you to participate in our Family 5K Run/Walk and Fun Day to observe Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Month of the Military Child (MOMC).

PNG Service Members are encourages to have their family and friends join and participate in the event! This is a child-friendly event that will include fun activities like:

- Face Painting

- A Bouncy House

- Yummy Food

- Giveaways

- Games

- Music

- ...And much more!

*Please note: childcare will not be provided.


Tickets are free, but donations are accepted. All donations will go to support the Sexual Assault Resource & Counseling Center of Lebanon and Schuylkill Counties. Please refer to the link below to learn more about the work SARCC does in our local communities.

5K Family Fun Day Timeline

0800 - 5K Registration confirmation and signing of waivers (all runners must sign a waiver before running the course)

0830 - Opening Ceremony/Safety Brief/Review Course

0900 - Start of Race/Walk

1000 - Family Festivities

1400- Break Down/ Clean Up


Parking will be in the lot at the end of Middle Road (please refer to attached map link below). Please do not park on the sides of the roadway, as the road must remain clear for traffic. The local police may give out tickets to vehicles parked on the shoulder of the road.

The Race Route

The 5K route will start at the intersection of Middle and Boundary roads, and will circle around Memorial Lake by following Boundary road to Clement Avenue, and then left onto Memorial Lake road. Another left onto Boundary road will bring runners back to the start/end point. Please see attached map at the link below to view route and start points.
