Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center (AIMMC) at 836 W. Wellington, in Chicago. In the T. Howard Clarke Auditorium, on the 7th Floor (from the ground floor, take Elevator 3).
From outside of the building, as you walk, follow the signs to the "Main Entrance" to the Hospital, which is adjacent to the Emergency Room Entrance. It's also very close to the CTA Wellington stop. Upon entering at the Main Hospital Entrance, tell the Front Desk that you are here for Toastmasters (and/or the T. Howard Clarke Auditorium), and they'll give you a Visitor sticker and direct you to Elevator 3.
Continue walking past the Front Desk down the hallway. At the abandoned nurses' station, turn left and walk down THAT hallway. You'll pass the hospital chapel as well as one or two restrooms. Then turn Right into another hallway. Walk just a few steps and then on your right you'll see two elevators marked "Elevator 3". Each of them is Elevator 3, so take either one. Take Elevator 3 up to Floor 7, then upon exiting the elevator, take an immediate right and another immediate right, and the T. Howard Clarke Auditorium will be on your right. The room is a mere 10 to 15 steps from Elevator 3 on Floor 7.
Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is just a few steps from the Brown Line Wellington Stop, as well as near the 22 Clark St. and 8 Halsted bus lines; also just a couple of blocks from the 76 Diversey and the 77 Belmont bus lines.
You can use the Hospital's Valet Parking for free before 7pm. The Valet will be just inside the Main Entrance as directed below. Or, you can use the Hospital's Parking Garage, and with validation, you'll only pay $5 for parking for the evening. (If you do park in the parking garage, bring your parking ticket with you into the Hospital so that hospital staff can validate it.)
