Well, do to popular demand, we have changed the itinerary for this trip. What we'll do: The key kayak on Saturday will be to the beach at Parking Lot #1, near the gate into Cape Canaveral Seashores. We might go to JB's. On Sunday, TBD. Plan on primitive camping unless you want to do extra hauling of your camping gear over from your vehicles which are not far away.

Since we are not far from the landing/departure point, arrive anytime after 11 a.m. on Friday (we got it booked for Friday thru Sunday), or before 9 a.m. on Saturday. Although I will arrive late Friday, I will be still be at River Breeze Park Saturday morning, ready to leave, at 9 a.m. First stop is the island campsite. Note, your vehicles (at River Breeze Park) are just 2300 feet away from the camp. If you don't want to kayak on the beach trip, you can certainly arrive whenever you please (after 11 a.m. Friday).

What to bring: Everything you need to survive for the duration you are on Mosquito Lagoon! Oh, and have your own kayak or canoe. There are NO facilities on the island. No water facets, no bathrooms (just trees), no electricity. Just a shared picnic table and fire pit. If you got the room in your vehicle, firewood would be nice. We'll get it over to the island somehow.

Important to know: Experience Level: Beginner+ We will have a couple groups at Beginner+ to Experienced. Pets (Dogs) are allowed, but must be social and bring adequate life vest, food, water, etc., for them. They must be attended to if left on the island (we need a pet sitter ).

We hold the right to VOTE YOU OFF THE ISLAND for unsocial or extreme incompetence behavior!

You are not obligated to, but a donation to the trip organizer for $5 would be appreciated.

How to find us:I drive a white Ford E 350 van with a large black kayak trailer behind it. If I am not by my van, I will be down near the boat launch, to the left side as you face it.
