Please Join us on November 15!
As part of Silicon Valley Community Foundations On the Table initiative, we are excited to invite you to join us on November 15 with a small group of First Church members, friends and members of the Redwood City community in a conversation were hosting about Silicon Valleys housing challenges.
On the Table is part of a nation-wide effort to bring people together to talk about important issues in their community over a shared meal. Right here in our region, SVCF is expecting to convene more than 5,000 community members in small conversations of 6-10 people. If you want to learn more about On the Table in general, please take a look at the landing page on SVCFs website.
Please arrive between 6:30 and 6:50 to meet other attendees and to help your self to a very simple and casual meal. We will eat and talk together beginning at 7:00.
We are looking forward to being a part of this effort and hope you will join us. Silicon Valleys housing issues affect all of uswhether its you or me, a friend, family member, or someone else you know. Thats why we believe now more than ever is the right time to come together, share our own experiences with housing issues, and think about solutions.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Although this conversation is intended for adults, if you have a tween or teen who might be interested, please feel free to have them join the conversation

What can I bring into the event?
We all know that Hunger Never Takes a Holiday so we are collecting food items for Second Harvest. Please remember, no glass or outdated/expired items. thanks!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Sure, no problem.
