This is meant to be fun first and foremost! Parts of it will be difficult, but everyone can get adaptions for their own fitness level. This training combines obstacles, running, strength and endurance training to prepare you for your first or 100th Obstacle Course Race be it a Spartan, Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash or something else. Many obstacles replicate actual obstacles in these major races. You will be taught techniques for wall and rope climbing and all other obstacles. You will be crossing monkey bars, carrying sanbags, medicine balls and kettle bells, jumping and balancing.All persons attending will receive individual feedback, instruction and help on techniques with the obstacles and strength building exercises as well as running. Techniques for conquering obstacles as a group will also be worked on. Some weeks will incorporate more team building exercises. The heart of obstacle course racing is working together as a team to overcome obstacles as a whole. Please only bring a positive attitude, water, fitness towel and athletic shoes you can run in.
