Dont have time to get out to the Smith Dorrien Trail area to snowshoe on weekends? Well we finally got enough snow in the city to come up with a different option. Week2 Sat Feb 10 Maple Ridge Golf Course
Week3 Sat Feb 17 Shaganappi Point Golf Course
Week4 Sat Mar 3 Maple Ridge Golf Course
Week5 Sat Mar 10 Shaganappi Point Golf Course
(We will see how snow/weather conditions are to proceed past the above dates)

Course Locations:
1. Confederation Park Golf Course, 3204 Collingwood Drive NW. Calgary AB T2L 0R6
2. Maple Ridge Golf Course, 1240 Mapleglade Dr. SE Calgary AB T2J 2G6

It is a requirement to read the following trip posting very carefully and to make the proper and responsible preparations for it. Failure to do so will result in participant not allowed on this trip. If the organizer deems it necessary to obtain additional information from you, please provide it, otherwise, you will be placed on the waiting list. As a potential participant, you must check this trip posting for additional directions from the organizer, including up to trip cancellation. Trip Description: We will meet at the scheduled golf course parking lot and snowshoe the first 9 holes of the course. If some of the group wants to do a full 18 holes of the course that is an option! Please be aware that local ski clubs have been grooming these courses for skiing also. We have to share the facilities, so we will be staying off those ski trails and cutting our own snowshoe trails. (For anyone that has golfed there is a lot of room!) Calgary Parks Information: http://www.calgary.ca/CSPS/Parks/Pages/Locations/Cross-country-skiing.aspx Distance: Total distance approximately 6-8km return. (2-3hrs) Depending weather conditions.
