A GOLDEN WIRE

In No Noise or Silence: Music of the English Restoration, musicians from A Golden Wire offer audiences a peek into the music which wrought a new birth for English music. A Golden Wire is a period instrument ensemble based in New York City, specializing in music of England and the British Isles, combining the baroques most unique and subtle instruments to bring the past to life. Drawing on their expertise in the areas of historical performance, they aim not only charm the listeners, but transport them to another place and time.
