Mt Work - Munns Rd. side

This will be a 3 boot hike
3 Boot Definition: Intermediate hike.
Suitable for fitter hikers. Typically: harder climbs (up to 600m), steeper grades, longer distances (up to 15 km), rugged trail conditions.
If you are new to hiking then then please gauge your fitness level carefully as this will be a BRISK hike with elevation.

Features of this hike include: Scenic vistas, east & west, weather permitting
Hazards of this hike include: Slippery rocks in wet weather

We will be hiking up to the summit of Mt.Work from the Munn Rd. side, with a side trip to Marthas Mounds, and exploring some other side trails

Elevation Gain: 477m
Leaving meeting place: 9:30AM
Lunch: Noon-ish
Finish: 3:00pm

Bring your backpack, water, lunch, snacks, raingear, and good footwear, sturdy low-cut hiker style shoes will be OK for this event.
