What we'll do ~ 11 Km 5-600m elevation taking ~ 4.5 hours
This 3 Boot loop around and over Mt. Maxwell from Armand Way travels through a spectacular forest on Salt Spring Island with some wonderful vistas of the Gulf Islands. Travel by 0900 ferry and driving to the TH allows us to start this hike around 0945, Elevation gained is 500 m. or more. The hike will take 4.5 hours or more including snack and a lunch stop which should allow us to be on the 3:50 ferry for the return trip. Pre-screening for this hike is required if you have not done a 3 boot hike with Club Tread before, for your safety and the enjoyment of all participants.

Hikes are lead by volunteers who have no special training such as first aid, survival, etc., but have knowledge of the trail through personal reconnaissance. Participants are expected to be competent hikers who accept the risks and hazards associated with an outdoor activity, along with the regular use of rough and steep trails in isolated areas and adverse conditions.

Please leave your dogs safely at home.
The travel times are estimates. There will be the usual waiver for everyone to sign. You can see a copy of the waiver in the files section of this site.
