This is an all day, stop-and-go ramble. Climb through three ecozones to the best south-side Mt. Hood alpine meadows at Paradise Park. We'll do it the hard way - not from the east, or even south, but from the west crossing the Sandy River. Twice. Each way. Eat your Wheaties! Bring binoculars and cameras. Pace averages under 2 miles/hour, including lots of breaks. Feel free to stop and photograph flowers, watch for birds, or just enjoy the views.

Dinner to follow at the Zigzag Inn.
