Join us for a gentle hike down a short and lightly traveled trail for a seated meditation in the shade of oak trees. This is one of my favorite places to meditate. There is some uneven terrain and slopes, but overall it is a relatively mild trail. Bring something to sit on that is easy to carry like a small blanket or light yoga mat. Compared to our other hiking meditations that are a bit longer and emphasize the hike, this meet up emphasizes the seated portion of the meditation. It will always take place on the trail that runs along side Rattlesnake Creek in Poway (try not to be discouraged by the name :) This will provide our group with a consistent monthly seated practice with nature.
It is always a good idea to bring water. I will be providing coffee and a light breakfast. Donations are what make hiking meditations possible. We ask for a $10 donation, but what ever you can afford is appreciated.
Directions: From Poway head east on Twin Peaks Road. Turn right on Range Park Rd. Shortly after you turn you will see a trail head on the left side of the road. Park on the street and be sure not to block anyone's driveway. To find us with your GPS enter:[masked] Range Park Rd, Poway, CA 92064
How to find us:We will meet on the street near the trailhead. Look for a black Subaru Outback with breakfast in the trunk :)
We will meet at 8am for introductions and coffee. We will start at 8:15am. Please be on time and message me if you are not going to be able to make it. See you at the trailhead!
