Endorsed by Curators:
The old Milk Ranch sits about half way between the Tip Top Mine and Crown King near what used to be an old stagecoach route from the valley to Prescott. It supplied food to the surrounding mining towns. We will be starting at Lake Pleasant then heading north into the mountains until we get to the ranch. After having a late lunch there we will head southeast through Tip Top and hit the pavement again at Table Mesa. If we have time we will take the short side road up to the tower at Tip Top on the way out.
Most of this trail is easy but there are a few difficult steep hills with good sized ledges and loose rocks. This will be a long day of wheeling and we may not get back until after dark.
Minimum vehicle requirements:
32" offroad tires
Traction device ( BLD, LSD, locker, etc )
