We meet to conduct long training runs for marathons and half marathons. Most of us use Hal Higdon's or Jeff Galloway's training plans based upon Hal Higdon's training philosophy. Our goal is to run for fun, fitness, and friendship.

Everyone is not on the same training schedule, so we have runners running different distances and different paces along the same course. Our runners run as few as 4 miles or as many as 20.

We have 3-6 hydrations points depending on how far you run. Below are Hal Higdon's recommended distances for several upcoming Marathons:

Chicago, Oct 8; Week 15; all run 20 miles.

Marine Corps, Oct 22; Week 13; Novice 1 - 18 miles, Novice 2 - 19 miles; Intermediate 20 miles.

New York/Fresno, Nov 5; Week 11; Novice 1 - 16 miles, Novice 2 and Intermediate 18 miles

How to find us:We park in the parking lot near Hardee's on Morganton Road and McPherson Church Road. At 5:30 we jump out of our cars, take a photo, and begin running.
