What we'll do
Margarette Falls trail is a short, beautiful hike to a very nice waterfall. Out and back it is almost 3 miles. So if you want to make it longer, we can take the Bullen Hollow trail (from the same trailhead) and go up to the Reynolds Ridge for an overlook of Greene County and see the remains of the Kennedy Cabin. It is a little over 6 miles round trip. So the total would be about 9 miles for the day. Parts of the trails are steep and rocky, so I suggest sturdy shoes, and it may not be a beginner hike.
What to bring
Wear sturdy shoes. Poles might be helpful, but not necessary. Bring a snack and we can take a break at the falls or at the overlook, or at the cabin.

Important to know
Check the weather and dress appropriately. I will send a reminder a day or two before with current forecast, but use your judgement. Message me if you want to carpool or meet at the trailhead.
