Meet the Coaches
Melissa Pierce, LECC, Reiki Master
Melissa Pierce has been a Co-Creative Life Coach for the past 11 years. She is hell-bent on doing exactly what she loves for the rest of her life and helping her clients do the same. Melissa specializes in helping people tap into and channel their creative unconscious and make meaningful shifts in their personal and professional lives. In addition to her 1-on-1 coaching practice, Melissa has created several self-discovery workshops using a method she affectionately calls Insight Outing."
Melissa is also a celebrated member of the Chicago tech community and an award-winning documentary filmmaker. She founded Chicago Women Developers, an organization for women in and interested in computer programming and was on the founding team of Everpurse, a handbag designed to charge a cellphone. In 2010 she directed and produced the documentary Life in Perpetual Beta about how access to the internet is changing the way we work, think, and connect and is currently working on Born with Curiosity - The Grace Hopper story, out in 2019. Melissa has Organized the Pitch Refinery Conference a two-day event for female entrepreneurs to refine their pitching skills to media, clients, teams, and investors.
Currently, Melissa serves as the COO of the womens cannabis wellness company, Ellementa and discovering the wonders of Chicago with her three precocious children.
Erica Grigg, MA
Erica Grigg is a certified HeartMath Coach and Mentor. In 2017, Erica started Motivated Erica to expand her coaching efforts internationally. In February 2018, Erica launches her second and third ebook,Turning Shit Into Fuel, and "10 Weeks of Sexy Date Ideas,". Then, The Fuck Yeah Life, (2018) to help leaders expand their ideas of success beyond money.
At Motivated Erica, she guides professional leaders through exercises that empower them in the midst of significant life transformation. From one-on-one coaching to group coaching and retreats, Erica creates mind-expanding experiences tailor-made for producing creative solutions.
Before becoming a coach, Erica spent over a decade focused on creating purposeful businesses, award-winning marketing for non-profits and corporate clients in the UK, Canada andUSA. Currently, Erica dually runs Socially Erica, a social media marketing firm. Back in 2008, Erica earned her Masters degree in Political Economics from University College London.

You'll need to be 18+ years old to attend.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Biking or taking public transport? We recommend this option most. The 49 bus is outside the venue, and the Damen Blue line stop is also just a few blocks from the venue. Driving? Feel free to find parking from SpotHero.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing, we will be doing a bit of movement and want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
