Kind of Tired of the Crowds in the City. Come join me on an adventure close to Seattle.

This is, perhaps, one of the easier hikes in Snolquamie National Park, but one of the most memorable because its like entering a Magical Kingdom. This is rare, even in a region with so many big mountains. Think about it.

Hiking through the Heather Meadows area feels like walking through a fairy tale. This family-friendly loop heads past two alpine lakes and blooming wildflowers, along with a stunning mountainous backdrop and a year-round snowfield.

Better than some new world created for a virtual reality game, its all there for you to enjoy.

Area: Mt Baker Hike Type: Family-friendly
Pass: Natl. Park Pass Distance: 2 mi RT Duration: 1-2 hr Difficulty Level: Easy

This will be a full day so be prepared to have an adventure.

***CARPOOLING IS ENCOURAGED**$15 to the drivers*Use the message system to arrange rides*

Lunch at Taylor Shellfish after the hike.

A sunny day is a favorite time for Oysters in the Pacific Northwest. The sun over the mountains are breathtaking. The golden glow reflecting off the mountains as the sunshine hits the water unforgettable sight.

This is one of my favorite past times in the north west. I want to share this with the club. A day on the water eating oyster is always an enjoyable time.
Your last minute cancellation deprives another of an opportunity to join us so we are not very forgiving with regard to no-shows. If you sign-up and cancel the day of the event, you will be excluded from my future events.**

After the Oysters..We wander over to Bow to spend a lazy afternoon at cheese farms in the country.

BBQ on the beach. we will stop off for provisions and cook and party on the beach. We will look for a secluded beach on Anacortes Island.

The beaches in the Pacific Northwest have their own special kind of charm rocks, pebbles and shells mixed with darker, rougher sand. Many spots are friendly, and offer an opportunity to witness amazing sunsets while relaxing on sun-bleached driftwood.
