Lone Peak has been on my list for years. It is time to give it a try. It is a big hike at 15 miles round trip and 6500' vert. The route is straight forward though and is explained nicely here, from Girl on a Hike: http://www.girlonahike.com/2016/11/hiking-lone-peak-from-cherry-canyon.html?m=1#.WaneC8pMHqD
We will do the newer, more scenic, Cherry Canyon trail. There is a bit of scrambling over the last 100 yards or so which could be avoided by stopping just short of the summit. You should be in good shape, bring 3 liters of liquid and a lunch.

Experimental Hiking on the Beach: Great Salt Air to Antelope Island

Sep 26 6:30PM - 9:30PM
